  Loved it. Great wholesome food and prompt service. Especially appreciated that the music was at an appropriate background level rather than loud and overwhelming like many over excited cafes do. Only one minor issue with the door being left open causing a cold draft, that was promptly fixed when asked. So clearly a very thoughtful well run establishment nestled in the suburbs off the beaten track. Five stars, highly recommended. Will definitely be back, with friends.

  Sitting here almost in a food coma after lunch today, I'm already planning my next visit to Fox and Bow. The Optimus Prime Wagyu beefburger with Everything, plus fat chips, was superb and delicious, if a little unwieldy to eat (it's ginormous). Friendly and cheerful staff kept everything moving along and definitely added to the great atmosphere. Highly recommended

  Great food, awesome atmosphere and even better staff. A lovely place to eat breakfast or brunch. They even have utilized the alley next to the building as a space for kids to play. Will be eating here again. :)

  Great little place for a breakfast/brunch/lunch. Dog friendly for the outside tables. Nice little play area along the side for the kids with a hopscotch area and basketball hoop.
  Staff are always friendly and efficient. The menu caters for all tastes and the food is good quality, but maybe a tad too pricey.

  Beautiful fare with smiling, relaxed staff who offered excellent service which included showing one small 3 year old 'kiddies corner'. Looking forward to a return visit ????

  Staff are rude, unfriendly and more concerned about making a profit.
  
  We had six people so phoned to see if we can reserve a table as the cafe is very small and busy on weekends. We were told they don't take bookings but were ensured we'd get a table.
  
  Upon arriving there were no tables free and we ended up having to stand outside in the cold and rain for around half an hour with constant promises of a table.
  
  Whilst waiting, we noticed the bar/bench seating was empty. When the staff were asked why, they said someone had made a reservation......
  
  To make matters worse, when a table was finally cleared they expected six people with six meals and drinks to fit on a small table for maybe four.
  
  Noticing the table next to us was about to leave, we asked if we could drag that across to give us more room. The staff didn't seem keen on this, and acted quite annoyed when we pounced on the table before they did.
  
  The food and coffee? Coffee was very average and slightly burnt. The food is basic, under-whelming and extremely over priced (basically $25 for eggs and bacon).
  
  On top of that, expect a massive weekend surcharge.
  
  We won't be back.

  Good quick service, good food, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. I enjoyed my lunch.
